You might want to see if you can find out how deep the rod is seated in that neck, barring that I would go with the advice of Ken Warmoth who built a guitar or two in his time. The 59 is by far my favorite Warmoth neck carve (I have them on a few partscasters). If you have too much resistance there's a good chance of causing a crack across the tuner holes. The Fatback is noticeably bigger, similar to some of the chunkier offerings on Gibson 57/58 reissue Les Pauls, or the original necks on the Jeff Beck Strats. A certain amount of thickness is required underneath the rod.
